This book includes 60 activities — 20 crosswords, 20 dot-to-dots, and 20 word searches. In this preview, you’ll find two samples of each activity.
In each activity, you’ll see the positive values associated with that sport displayed on the left side, exactly as they appear in the book Life & Sports Values Learned from 60 Popular Sports Disciplines. This way, while the child completes the activity, they’re also absorbing those values naturally, often without even realizing it.
The sports follow the same order as in the main book, so you can read a chapter and then do the matching activity to reinforce the values even further.
Although the book is designed for children ages 6 to 8, we know that every child learns at their own pace. At Children With Values, we believe most kids will find the dot-to-dots easy and enjoyable, while crosswords and word searches may be more challenging.
